Kampung Banggol Katong, Terengganu, 9 - 11 January 2026 - A total of 40 students from the Agricultural Science Education Club, Faculty of Educational Studies UPM and the PUTRA Squad organized a community service program themed "AgroEdu: Citra Desa Sejahtera". This program was led by brother Pau De Li as the program director and was accompanied by the club advisor, Ts. Dr. Enio Kang Sufian Kang. Throughout the program, various activities and activities were carried out involving direct interaction with local residents and the community. Among the activities implemented was the knowledge transfer slot "Making Kokedama", where participants shared creative planting art techniques with villagers. In addition, health aspects were also emphasized through the slot "Talk Jom Sihat" in collaboration with Yakult Malaysia. The community atmosphere was increasingly felt through the first-ever gotong-royong activities, lunch with residents, and the "Healthy Body, Healthy Brain" recreational activity in the village field. The presence of students here not only shared agricultural knowledge, but also participated in spiritual activities with the community at the village mosque.

The closing ceremony of the program was officiated by the Head of the Department of Science and Technical Education, Ts. Dr. Mohd Hazwan Mohd Puad. The faculty expressed its highest appreciation to the residents of Kampung Banggol Katong for their warm hospitality and cooperation. It is hoped that this AgroEdu initiative can strengthen the soft skills of students while contributing to food security and sustainable agricultural innovation at the grassroots level, which is an important agenda under the PUTRA Squad program at Universiti Putra Malaysia.
