FPP Resource Centre facilities are primarily provided to meet the needs of students and lecturers of FPP in their learning, teaching, and research activities at UPM. FPP Students can also make use of facilities such as reading area, computers, reference collections, and discussion rooms to support their academic activities.
Yes. A visit to the FPP Agricultural Science Education Farm can be held as one of the learning activities and exposure to outdoor education facilities provided by the Faculty of Educational Studies. Among the facilities available at this farm include a fertigation greenhouse, nursery, plant shade house, soil and compost mixing station, chicken breeding area, student training field and student briefing room. For the purpose of visiting, interested parties are advised to obtain permission and make an application in advance to the FPP (dean@edu.upm.edu.my) to ensure that the visit can be coordinated properly.
Yes, external parties can apply to use FPP facilities on a rental basis, subject to the availability of facilities and approval by the faculty. FPP also has expertise in the field of sewing and clothing technology, including the Clothing Technology Laboratory which is used for teaching activities and community development programs.
FPP also provides a booking form for the use of facilities which includes categories of tenants from the government, statutory bodies, government agencies, business bodies, private and private parties. Rental rates and conditions are subject to current FPP regulations. For inquiries regarding the latest facilities, sewing and make-up programs and rental applications, interested parties are advised to contact the FPP Administration Office for further information and confirmation.
