Serdang, May 15, 2026 – In conjunction with the month of Zulhijjah and the sacrificial rites, the Faculty of Educational Studies (FPP), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) organized a Sharing Session@Reading Corner titled “The Sacrifice of the Family of Prophet Ibrahim AS” at the Reading Corner, Faculty of Educational Studies.
This program was attended by faculty members in an effort to enhance the appreciation of the values of sacrifice, sincerity, and obedience that are central to the observance of the month of Zulhijjah and the act of sacrifice.
The sharing session was delivered by Dr. Mohd Mokhtar Muhamad from the Department of Basic Education, FPP, shared the story of the sacrifice of Prophet Ibrahim AS and his family as an example in the formation of exemplary character, the strengthening of humanitarian values, and the cultivation of a spirit of togetherness among the faculty members.
The organization of this program is also in line with the faculty's efforts to strengthen the culture of knowledge and lifelong learning thru sharing activities that are relaxed yet highly impactful for human development.
In addition to enriching the appreciation of the month of Zulhijjah at the faculty level, this program also serves as an effective platform for strengthening ties of kinship and instilling noble values in a harmonious and positive work environment among the faculty members.
