TWO FPP STUDENTS WIN PRESTIGIOUS AWARDS DURING UPM'S 49TH CONVOCATION

 

Serdang, November 29, 2025 – Two students from the Faculty of Educational Studies (FPP), Universiti Putra Malaysia, have brought honor to the faculty by receiving prestigious awards at the 49th UPM Convocation Ceremony, which was officiated by His Royal Highness the Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Alhaj.
Nor Asfarina Isahyifiqa binti Isahhidun was selected as the recipient of the Razlan Putra Medal, bringing home a gold medal, RM4,000.00 in cash, and a certificate of appreciation presented by Dato’ Seri Diraja Syed Razlan Ibni Syed Putra Jamalulail. This graduate is not only academically excellent but also active in sports and is a Malaysian hockey athlete, reflecting the ability of FPP students to achieve holistic excellence.
Also bringing pride to the faculty is the receipt of the Sultan Idris Shah Endowment Award (Postgraduate) by Dr. Wang Xinzhi from the field of Physical Education. He received a trophy and certificate of appreciation from the faculty, as well as a gold medal, RM3,000.00 in cash, and a certificate sponsored by the Sultan Idris Shah Endowment Fund. This recognition demonstrates the faculty's commitment to producing high-quality and impactful research graduates.
Commenting on this success, the Dean of the Faculty of Education expressed pride and appreciation for the achievements of both recipients. This success clearly demonstrates FPP's ability to foster academic excellence, research, and leadership talent, in line with our role and FPP's motto, Leading in Educational Studies. "This achievement not only elevates the faculty's name but also serves as an inspiration to the entire student body," he said.
The Faculty of Educational Studies extends its warmest congratulations to both recipients for this recognition and hopes their success will continue to be a catalyst for excellence among UPM students in the future.
