The Faculty of Educational Studies Received the Third Place in Semarak Merdeka Programme

23 August 2024, Serdang- Congratulations to the UPM Faculty of Educational Studies for successfully winning the Overall Third Place Award for Program Semarak Merdeka 2024 organized by the UPM Culture and Arts Center.

Among the awards successfully won by the Faculty are:
1. 3rd Place Overall Universiti Putra Malaysia Semarak Merdeka Program 2024 with a 2025 Semarak Merdeka Activity Grant prize worth RM1000. 00
2. The runner-up of the Pertandingan Kibar Jalur Gemilang takes home a cash prize of RM1000. 00
3. Sixth place in the Merdeka Merdeka Inter-PTJ Poetry Competition - Dr Suriani Ismail
4. Eighth Place Merdeka Inter-PTJ Bright Poetry Competition - Dr Muhammad Zarif Hassan
5. Jury's Special Prize: Best Management Commitment in the Pertandingan Kibar Jalur Gemilang
Well done and congratulations to the Faculty of Education, UPM for the successful achievement of UPM's Semarak Merdeka 2024 Program this time. All this success could not have been achieved without the high commitment, cooperation of all and the never-ending financial support of all members of the Faculty.

Associate Prof. Dr. Wan Marzuki Wan Jaafar, Dean of FPP congratulated all the staff on this success. According to him, "This success is proof of the commitment of FPP staff to further strengthen the bonds of brotherhood and the spirit of cooperation among the staff. I hope that this Semarak Merdeka Program will continue in the future so that it can provide benefits to the people of UPM to increase moral values, religious appreciation and heritage practices such as customs and manners to build self-defense against any threat and influence. The independence we achieved today is not just a historical achievement, but it is also a proof of unity, common strength and spirit that never fades."
