Jakarta, Indonesia, 14 February 2025 (Friday) - Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) and Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ) have established academic collaboration through the "Teaching & Learning Collaboration: Building Your Best Life: Career, and Family Preparation" program located at Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ), Indonesia. This academic program was attended by 15 students of the Bachelor of Home Science Education program with Honors from FPP UPM and 30 students of the Family Wellbeing Education program from Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ) aimed to strengthen the relationship between the two institutions in the field of education. In this program, Puan Anis Zakaria, shared knowledge about personal appearance ethics, walking style, and the importance of maintaining a professional image in addition to the direction of the Home Science Education curriculum in Malaysia and globally. The second speaker, Dr. Uswatun Hasanah, M.Si and the third speaker Elmanora, S.Si., M.Si. also shared knowledge in the field of family and the Home Science Education curriculum to all UPM and UNJ participants.

Through this program, students can understand the comparison of curricula at the international level, especially in Home Science Education, as well as expand their knowledge about academic collaboration between UPM and UNJ. This collaboration not only expands students' knowledge, but also fosters a positive attitude and a sense of pride in representing UPM at the international level. With the success of this program, it is hoped that more academic and research collaborations can be implemented in the future.
