Malang, Indonesia, 3 May 2024 (Thursday) – The Agricultural Science Education Club from the Faculty of Education Studies (FPP), Universiti Putra Malaysia has participated in the National Education Day parade program (HARDIKNAS) organized by Malang State University (UM). This HARDIKNAS program was attended by all UM academic officers and administrators, local and international student representatives and invited guests. The participation of the Agricultural Science Education Club was also accompanied by lecturer Ts. Dr. Mohd Hazwan Mohd Puad, Ts. Dr. Enio Kang Mohd Sufian Kang and Ts. Dr. How Shwu Pyng from the Science and Technical Education Department, Faculty of Education Studies UPM.

The HARDIKNAS program started at 7:00 am at Cakrawala UM Stadium with all participants wearing traditional clothes from their respective ethnicities and regions. The representatives of the Agricultural Science Education Club have demonstrated the traditional clothes of baju Malay, baju kebarung, baju cheongsam, baju ethnic Murut, and baju kebaya in this HARDIKNAS parade. The HARDIKNAS program ended at 11:00 am.

Rector of Malang State University (UM), Prof. Dr. Hariyono has inaugurated the HARDIKNAS program by warning of the high struggle in the philosophy of freedom of knowledge. With the theme "Moving Together to Continue Freedom to Study", academics are reminded to understand the importance of providing role models, guidance and encouragement to all stakeholders regardless of the position and position of the academic.
