Jakarta, 17 February 2025 (Monday) - The FPP UPM Home Science Education Club has conducted a study visit in the SRT mobility program to Martha Tilaar International Beauty School, Jakarta, Indonesia. This Martha Tilaar training center has been established since 1970 by its founder, Dr Martha Tilaar. This visit aims to see how the processes and procedures and practices in the field of cosmetology and beauty are. Also present on this visit were the Dean of the Faculty of Education Studies, Assoc. Prof. Dr Wan Marzuki, Head of the Department of Science and Technical, Dr. Mohd Hazwan Mohd Puad, and also a lecturer in Home Science, Puan Anis Zakaria.

The director of the mobility program, Syafiqah Mubarak Ali, said that visits like this can provide new and valuable professional experience in the field of beauty. Various activities and practices were carried out such as visiting the Alex Tilaar library, hair salon, beauty spa consisting of massage, basic facial, flower bath and also spice bath. This visit was also done to see various types of makeup presentations such as bridal makeup, traditional makeup, international makeup and many more.
