Malang, Indonesia, 8 May 2024 (Wednesday) - The Agricultural Science Education Club (KPSP) consisting of 23 students from the Bachelor of Agricultural Science Education program with Honors led by Ahmad Nor Shahmin Ahmad Nor Kamar participated in the "International Seminar - Food Safety and Agricultural Education : Way Forward" located at Universitas Brawijaya, Malang. This international level seminar was also attended by 3 lecturers namely Ts. Dr. Mohd Hazwan Mohd Puad, Ts. Dr Enio Kang Mohd Sufian Kang and Ts. Dr How Shwu Pyng from the Department of Science and Technical Education, FPP UPM. A total of 70 academic officers and students from Universitas Brawijaya have also participated in this program physically and online.

The three main speakers in the seminar are Prof. Nuhfil Hanani from Brawijaya University, Ts. Dr. Mohd Hazwan Mohd Puad and Ts. Dr. Enio Kang Mohd Sufian Kang from Universiti Putra Malaysia. This seminar focuses on studies, strategies, efforts and regional cooperation in dealing with the issue of food security and agriculture. The status and data updates of food security against demand are presented and shared to all participants. Next, the importance of agricultural education is also emphasized to raise the awareness of the people, communities, and students on measures to ensure the stability of the country's food supply.
