Riau, Indonesia, August 1, 2024 (Thursday) - Bachelor of Agricultural Science Education with Honors students have conducted the International Agricultural Science Transformation Network Program located at the BLPP Istiqomah Mosque, Riau, Indonesia. This program is carried out jointly with the Representative of Istiqomah Mosque, which is Ibu Indah Pertiwi, together with the parish of the mosque and accompanied by Dr. Normala Ismail, Dr. Riyan Hidayat, and Ts. Dr. Mohd Hazwan Mohd Puad, from the Department of Science and Technical Education, FPP UPM.

The presentation of agricultural knowledge related to the reintroduction of ornamental plants was delivered by Dr. Normala and assisted by 10 students from the Bachelor of Agricultural Science Education with Honors to be facilitators throughout the program. The transformation of this knowledge has been carried out by sharing methods of reintroduction, suitable types of decorative plants, types of soil and pots as well as several other matters related to the knowledge of reintroduction. It is not only able to achieve the objective of imparting knowledge but at the same time it can make the Istiqomah Mosque more beautiful with decorative trees.

Throughout the program, the congregation of this mosque was able to understand the importance of making re-entry, the process of carrying out re-entry according to the correct steps and the use of materials and equipment needed in carrying out re-entry. It is hoped that through this program and activity it can benefit the parties involved, whether it is the lecturers, the congregation of Masjid Istiqomah and the Bachelor of Agricultural Science Education with Honors students involved.
