Kajang, 15 January 2026 (Thursday) – A total of 40 Bachelor of Agricultural Science Education with Honours 1st year students from the Agricultural Science Education Club (KPSP), Faculty of Educational Studies (FPP) have carried out the "From Varsity to Community: Agricultural Service" program with the Kampung Sungai Balak community through activities based on agriculture and food security. This program allows students to gain experience in doing activities with the community, fostering noble values ​​and character among students as well as technology applications in the field of alternative agriculture. This community program was led by Ts. Dr. Enio Kang Mohd Sufian Kang, KPSP advisor. Agricultural officers from FPP were also present, namely En. Mohammad Sallehhuden Samah, Cik Nurul Azika Abdul Jalil, En. Muhammad Taqiuddin Shith Mohd Shith Putera, Cik Siti Rahayu Abdul Ghafar and Cik Ashana Saffie. This program was jointly officiated by Ts. Dr. Mohd Hazwan Mohd Puad, Head of the Department of Science and Technical Education and the Honorable Tuan Ong Chun Wei, Member of the Balakong State Assembly.

This Community Service Program is hoped to provide new knowledge and benefits to the students involved through experience and to improve the students' soft skills, in addition to exposing them to the real world of work through awareness in the field of agriculture and food security. This activity and collaboration with the community of Kampung Sungai Balak, Kajang will be continued in other projects in the future.
