Jakarta, 15 February 2025 (Saturday) – A total of 15 members of the Home Science Education Club, Faculty of Educational Studies UPM have carried out community service activities through the "Sharing Love, Spreading Hope" program which was held at the Esa Sasana Surya Foundation Orphanage, East Jakarta, Indonesia. This program aims to improve students' social skills, communication skills, leadership, and teamwork as well as instill caring attitudes and noble values. This program is jointly organized by Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ) with the participation of UPM lecturers, Puan Anis Zakaria, Ts. Dr. Mohd Hazwan Mohd Puad as well as UNJ lecturers and other UNJ students and alumni. The program director, Syafiqah Mubarak Ali, hopes that this program can build students' self-esteem by fostering a spirit of concern and love. Various joint activities were also carried out with the children at the orphanage to cheer them up and motivate them.
