EKSA, which was introduced in January 2014, is a rebranding of the Public Sector 5S Practices, which is one of the initiatives towards improving the quality of government service delivery. This rebranding measure is appropriate and in line with current changes and requirements that always emphasize improving organizational performance and competitiveness in addition to further stimulating a creative and innovative culture among public sector departments/agencies.
The main components in the implementation of EKSA are based on the 5S Practices (Sort, Arrange, Sweep, Uniform and Always Be Kind) and improved with the addition of several new elements, namely:
