Dean's Foreword

Welcome to the Faculty of Educational Studies’ website.  I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the opportunity to say a few words in this website.  The Faculty of Educational Studies was established January 15, 1975. In its early inception, the Faculty of Educational Studies was first known as the Faculty of Educational Services in line with the Faculty’s main function at the time.  In accordance with the current development, the Faculty of Educational Studies has undergone many changes in areas such as infrastructure, academic structure, postgraduate studies, research and professional services. The main aim of the Faculty is to produce charismatic educators with caliber as well as executives who are professional with a well-balanced personality in the field of human resource development.  This is in line with the Faculty’s mission and vision to be the pioneer in knowledge discovery and skills that contribute to the progress in education and human resource development with international repute.  I sincerely wish that this website is able to assist  all interested parties to obtain information which is precise, clear and quick following the rapid advancement of today’s borderless world of technology.  I also would like to thank everyone involved in preparing the content of the website and hope it continues to be dynamic consistent with UPM and Faculty of  Educational Studies’ present and future directions.  Happy Surfing!
