Nottingham, October 3, 2025 - Dr. Sharifah Intan Sharina from the Department of Science and Technical, Faculty of Education Studies, visited Nottingham Trent University (NTU) as a visiting scholar. This visit aims to strengthen academic cooperation between FPP, UPM, and NTU, particularly in the field of Education for Sustainable Development (ESD). Throughout the visit, he had the opportunity to meet with several NTU academic staff, including Dr. Nicholas Ray, Assoc. Professor Dr. Iryna Kushnir and Dr. Miriam Sang-Ah Park.
NTU, which is currently ranked second in the world in the UI GreenMetric rankings, offers significant opportunities for Universiti Putra Malaysia to strengthen its leadership and collaboration, particularly in the field of sustainability. The discussion also opened up new possibilities for joint publications, organizing summer schools, and implementing dual/joint PhD programs.
In the near future, Prof. Madya Dr. Iryna Kushnir will be one of the keynote speakers at the i-Greduc 2025 Seminar organized by the Faculty of Educational Studies, UPM, which will take place on November 15, 2025.
