Malang, Indonesia, May 13, 2024 (Monday) - The Agricultural Science Education Club (KPSP) has conducted a community service program themed "Organic Waste Processing as Compost" located at Brawijaya Smart School (SD BSS). This program is carried out jointly with the Faculty of Agriculture Brawijaya and is accompanied by Ts. Dr. Mohd Hazwan Mohd Puad, Ts. Dr. Enio Kang Mohd Sufian Kang and Ts. Dr. How Shwu Pyng from the Department of Science and Technical Education, FPP UPM.

A total of 23 students from the Bachelor of Agricultural Science Education with Honors have shared and facilitated teaching activities that focus on the process of making organic compost in improving soil quality for agricultural and plantation purposes.

Throughout the activity, Primary School students aged 10 - 12 years old were able to understand the importance of compost, the step-by-step production process and the materials needed in compost production. Hopefully all parties involved can benefit from this program.
