Putrajaya, 17 December 2025 (Wednesday) - A total of 19 students from the Postgraduate Students' Association of Technical and Vocational Education, FPP, UPM through the TVET Institution Administration course made an academic visit to the National TVET Council Secretariat Office located in Putrajaya. This academic visit was also accompanied by lecturer, Ts. Dr. Mohd Hazwan Mohd Puad, from the Department of Science and Technical Education. This academic courtesy visit was welcomed by the Head and officers of the National TVET Council Secretariat, Ts. Dr. Azmir Mohd Yunus and Dr. Rozita Sulaiman, along with other office officers.

The objective of this visit program is for TVET postgraduate students to understand the task of coordinating the TVET agenda in Malaysia including learning about the TVET integration approach in the national education and development ecosystem. In addition, this visit also provides students with the opportunity to gain knowledge about the administration and governance of various TVET institutions in Malaysia.

The program began with an introductory session, followed by a sharing from the secretariat. The program ended with a question and answer session, discussion and sharing from both parties regarding TVET domestically and internationally. It is hoped that programs like this can provide corporate and professional exposure to local and international postgraduate students, thereby providing a more critical understanding of the administration and management of TVET institutions.
